Q:
I’m sending a fax from a Unix application using data fields, but it appears with a font size bigger than what I need. Is there any data field or any other clue to specify the font size of a fax you are sending, without affecting all other fax sent from the application?
A:
You can set the font size with normal PCL (Laserjet) printer commands. You can find an example for that in the file Program Files\ActiveFax\Server\Sample.txt. As an alternative it would also be possible to change the default font size on the fax server with the menu Extras / Printer Emulation / HP Laserjet.
