Transmission Error on Page 1

Q:
We are receiving the following error message when we attempt to send a fax any >ideas what the issue is? ERROR: Transmission Error on Page 1 (Code 2 = Call >aborted, from +FK or AN) The following fax document could NOT be delivered.

Which ActiveFax version are you using on that system? When using a version older than 4.05, I would recommend to update the fax server to the latest version (http://www.activefax-distribution.com/e_download.html – it’s free).

If you are already using a newer ActiveFax version, I would recommend to change the modem class to class 1 mode in the menu Communication / Modem / Modify.
